The Board Directors of Maritime Museum of Litohoro in the celebration of the protector of sailors St Nicholas - the celebration of ten (10) years 2002 to 2012 orderly and rising function of the Museum since its foundation and also for the completement of one hundred years 1912 - 2012 of release - integration of Macedonia in the National Body:
Invites the members and friends of the Maritime Museum to honor with their presence the otherwise simple/plain (due to economic crisis) banquet that will be hosted on the day of St Nicholas, on 6th of December 2012 time at 11:00 in the morning in the hall of Maritime Museum of Litohoro.

Today Thursday 29th of November 2012 the Maritime Museum of Litohoro accompanied by Mrs Myroti Maria was visited by a group of teachers from eight European countries invited by the educational institute "PLATWN" of Katerini. The tour/exhibition at the Museum was made by the President of Maritime Museum of Litohoro Mr Vlahopoulo Nick and members of the Board of Directors Mr Triantafyllou John and Feloni Chris. Μακεδονία 1912-2012, εκατό χρόνια ελευθερίας. Ο εορτασμός των 100 χρόνων από την απελευθέρωση και την προσάρτηση στον ελληνικό κορμό, έδωσε την ευκαιρία για πανηγυρικούς εορτασμούς και για την έκδοση συγγραφικών πονημάτων και καλαισθήτων λευκωμάτων, που εντάχθηκαν πολύ αρμονικά στην επέτειο. Το ανδραγάθημα του ναυάρχου Βότση στις 18 Οκτωβρίου 1912 στο λιμάνι της Θεσσαλονίκης με τον τορπιλισμό του τουρκικού πολεμικού πλοίου Φετχί Μπουλέντ, έγινε έπος και ανέδειξε τον Βότση στον μπουρλοτιέρη του Θερμαϊκού.
