Maritime Museum of Litohoro - Public Benefit Foundation "Dionysis Paschalis"
As Maritime Museum of Litohoro, on November 15th 2012 we had the opportunity for a first acquaintance with the charitable Foundation "Dionysis A. Paschalis". Specifically the Museum was visited by:
Mr Dionysis Paschalis, Mr Bill Vasilopoulos (Emeritus Professor of Aristotle University and secretary of the body of peer teachers Northern Greece) and Mr George Karras economist. President - General Secretary and Head of Finance respectively of Foundation "Dionysis A. Paschalis". They were guided by the President of the Museum Mr Vlahopoulos Nick and a member of the Board of Directors Mr Triantafyllou John. A discussion followed in order to find ways to support further upgrading - and promotion of the Maritime Museum of Litohoro. I admit that it was a frank conversation/discussion with several emotional moments for the role they are to play, meaning both the Charitable foundations and the Museums as vectors/carriers of our cultural heritage in order to alleviate of all kinds of human suffering and not break the social fabric of our race of Greekness in these difficult times that our country is going through. We agreed on specific and targeted actions. Announcements will be made afterwards when both sides will reach the stage of implementation. Finally I want to congratulate on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Maritime Museum of Litohoro and myself personally the Public Benefit Foundation for the work that is done by them SILENTLY.
Sincerely Nick Vlahopoulos President of Maritime Museum of Litohoro
